Như các bạn đã biết, đề thi IELTS chia làm 4 kỹ năng: Listening, Speaking, Reading và Writing. Writing Task 2 là bài thi khó nhất với các bạn luyện thi IELTS.
Writing Task 2 sẽ chiếm 2/3 số điểm tổng bài thi IELTS Writing của bạn. Điều này đồng nghĩa với việc nếu bạn đạt tối đa điểm Task 1, bạn chỉ có 3 điểm, 6 điểm còn lại ở bài Writing Task 2.
Với bài Writing Task 2, các bạn sẽ phải viết một bài luận (essay) có độ dài tối thiểu là 250 từ. Đề bài Writing Task 2 khác nhau đối với đề thi học thuật (academic) và tổng quát (general)
- IELTS Academic: Bạn phải viết bài luận đưa ra những ý kiến chiến tranh luận về 1 ý kiến và hoặc vấn đề xã hội.
- IELTS General: Bạn phải viết bài luận phản hồi lại quan điểm, vấn đề nào đó
